Golden Valley Products relies upon APTIV film engineering it into its membrane switches, specialty printed circuit sensors and thin-film potentiometers.  APTIV Film provides the barrier against moisture, chemicals and high temperatures which is so critical in membrane switches offered by GVP.  Moisture resistance of APTIV film made with VICTREX PEEK exceeds that of polyester and polyimide and has a higher operating temperature and better chemical resistance than polyester.  Complex membrane switch designs can have numerous layers and GVP uses a pressure sensitive adhesive to join the layers.  In applications where it is imperative that a membrane switch is protected, APTIV film is the material of choice for GVP.
